Rooted in tradition, alive with music
Sunday Morning Schedule
- 8:30 AM – Adult Sunday School
- 10:00 AM – Morning Worship Service
- After Worship – Fellowship & Snacks in the Fellowship Hall
What to Expect
Come as you are. Seriously.
Each Sunday looks a little different, but you can expect:
- A warm welcome and greeting time, a chance to say hello and feel at home
- Music that blends beloved hymns with contemporary praise songs, evolving a little each week
- A unison prayer and the passing of the peace
- Prayer of the People, where a microphone is passed so anyone can share what's on their heart
- Choir music, followed by scripture and a sermon grounded in making ancient words meaningful today
- A benediction and dismissal to send you back into your week
- An invitation to generosity, we use a QR code and offering boxes rather than a passing plate
Families & Children
Children are a joyful part of our worship.
During the summer months especially, we love having kids in the service. You may even find a basket of instruments making its way around.
- A children's message is offered during the service
- Kids are always welcome to remain in worship, with a dedicated Prayground area in the back filled with hands-on activities (it's wonderfully lively back there)
- Sunday School for children is available following the children's message
- Nursery care is also provided
After the Service
We’d love to see you on Sunday!
SERMONS of Service
On Sundays when the calendar lands on a fifth week, we hold a Sunday of Service in place of our usual worship format. The service is shorter, and then the whole congregation rolls up its sleeves together. These projects have included assembling laundromat kits with detergent, dryer sheets, quarters, and handwritten notes of encouragement, then delivering them to local laundromats on Sunday morning. We have organized letter-writing campaigns for city officials and pastors in our community. We have put together goodie bags for hospital workers and hygiene kits for neighbors in need. Recently, youth and adults made lunch together and wrote personal notes of encouragement for the guests who come to our food program.
The work is simple and the impact is real, and there is something particular that happens when a congregation serves shoulder to shoulder.
