Community Presbyterian Church

Serve at CPC

There is no shortage of ways to get involved

This is a small church that does a lot. That is not an accident.

It works because people show up, pitch in, and find that the work itself becomes one of the better parts of belonging here. There is no shortage of ways to get involved, and no contribution is too small. Whether you have a specific skill to offer or you just want to be useful, there is a place for you.

Where Volunteers Are Needed

Community Cupboard

Our food ministry runs on community volunteers. Meal days, pantry days, setup and distribution. If you have a few hours on a Monday, Tuesday, or Friday, this is some of the most direct and meaningful work the church does.

Worship Support

Every Sunday runs on the quiet effort of people serving behind and in front of the scenes. Greeters and welcomers help set the tone before a single word is spoken from the pulpit. Liturgists participate in leading the service itself. Training and support are provided.

Coffee Cart

Before worship and again during coffee and conversation after the service, someone has to make it all happen. If you enjoy being in the middle of things and meeting people, this is a good fit.

Christian Education

Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Messy Church, and Bible study all need willing hands and hearts. Teaching experience is welcome but not always required

Property

There is always something that needs attention around the building and grounds. If you are handy, organized, or just willing to help with whatever comes up, the property team will find good use for you.

Ministry teams

Our ministry teams are the organizing backbone of congregational life, each led by a session member who can connect you with next steps. To express interest in any team, reach out to the church at [main email] and the right person will be in touch.
