Stephen Ministry

A Caring Ministry

Community Presbyterian Church is a Stephen Ministry congregation. Through Stephen Ministry we have a commitment to care for people who are going through or recovering from a crisis or difficult situation. Stephen Ministers are congregation members who have been trained to listen carefully, confidentially, and non-judgmentally, offering care and Christian support to those who need it. The need for care is assessed by a Stephen Leader who then matches the need for care with a Stephen Minister. The caring relationship lasts for as long as the need persists. If you would like to know more contact Tina Hannold at 813-782-8303 or you can reach out to the church office.

Congregational Care

At Community Presbyterian Church we believe everyone is important. As a growing community of faith we seek to be present to one another through the ups and downs of life. As a part of this community, you are assigned a contact within the church, a deacon, who you can reach out to when you need a helping hand. Our Deacons want you to feel welcome and cared for. If you wish to learn more, reach out to our Deacon Moderator, Kathryn Flynn.
