Adults
more than showing up on Sunday
Faith does not stop growing when we get older, and neither does community.
For adults at our church, there are ways to go deeper on Sunday morning and plenty of reasons to stick around the rest of the week.
Sunday Morning
Adult Sunday School meets at 8:30 AM every Sunday before worship. The format shifts from week to week. Sometimes the group works through a book together. Sometimes the conversation takes its own shape. It is a small, unhurried hour that a lot of people find quietly essential.
Fellowship and Community
Supper Club meets on the third Saturday of each month at a different restaurant each time. Anyone is welcome to join. There is no sign-up process and no commitment beyond showing up.Â
Every other month we gather for a low-key evening activity, whether that is a hymn sing, a bingo night, or something else entirely.
Women’s Bible Study
Women’s Bible Study group meets the second Thursday of the month at 10 a.m. Women of all ages meet to discuss topics that are meaningful for daily living. This group offers support and encouragement for each person’s faith journey. No matter whether you are new to your faith or an experienced sojourner you are welcome to join this group at anytime.
What Engages People Here
If you ask members what brings adults into the life of this congregation and keeps them there, the answer is not complicated. It is music. It is food. And it is the chance to do something that matters alongside other people. Service projects, shared meals, and active involvement are the threads that run through almost everything we do. If you are looking for a place where faith means more than showing up on Sunday, you will find it here.
